The rasp is exactly what I thought it would be and I am very happy with it.

Can't believe I lived without this in the kitchen

I discovered this product when I took a cooking class. I can't believe I used anything else. I use this microplane for almost every dish as it does everything from lemons to chocolate to cheese and garlic. It has soo many uses. The blades are still super sharp and I have had mine for over a year. Buy it now, use it and enjoy a wonderful meal... yum yum :)

Love it

This product is great. I doubt many will get to this review considering how many times it has been given 5 stars. But here's my reasons for giving it 5 stars: 1. We've used ours for over a year now and it's still like new 2. Lightweight and sharp, so easily grates without much pressure 3. Fits easily into a drawer with the sleeve on (space is very important to us, we have so many gadgets in our kitchen) 4. Dishwasher safe, which is great since we use the dishwasher to clean all but the items we know it would destroy. It's been washed many, many times and as I said above, it still looks new. 5. Easy to use at the table

Everyone who cooks should have this product!

This tool is excellent. Definitely 5 stars. It is very sharp and is easy to use. It makes a very fine grate of anything I have tried. Handy for using over a pot when cooking. Cleans up easily. It comes with a protective cover for storing it. I have nothing but praise for this product. I would definitely buy it again for myself and gift it to others. The price is a fantastic value.

A must have for any kitchen

After years of toilling with an old fashined grader for making lemon cakes, lime cookies, etc, I picked one of these up. First off, throw your old grader away and never try to zest with it again. The microplane makes the work so much easier and QUICKER! A full lemon takes just 30 seconds to zest, pecorion romano and parmigiano reggiano melt off this thing as if it were on fire! I've since bought a few others in assorted sizes.
