Not bad

After receiving a free sample of the orange-flavored Stevita drink mix, I decided to try the cherry and strawberry flavors. The strawberry's sweet, but does have a slight bitter aftertaste. It also took a little while for it to desolve in the water bottle. However, it doesn't have that chemically aftertaste that you get with some drink mixes. For someone who doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, or trying to wean themselves off of sugar/artificial sweeteners, the Stevita singles make a pretty decent alternative.

Did not last long

Although this product does a good job and we enjoyed it, it died on us less than 6 months after we purchased it. It was only used a couple of times a week and I would have expected it to last much longer. We had to purchase a 2nd one and hope it lasts longer this time.

Works very well

We recently had to replace our toaster because one of the cats had knocked it to the floor when jumping onto the counter. While researching for a new one I came across the Back to Basics TEM500 Egg-and-Muffin 2-Slice Toaster and Egg Poacher. A clever idea but how useful would it be in practice? However, the price was right and there would be no problems returning it to Amazon, so I ordered it. After using it for a month here are my observations. 1. Toasting performance: excellent; it may be the best toaster I have owned. 2. Cooking a poached egg: excellent and very easy to do. 3. Cooking soft/hard boiled eggs: not as good. The shells need to be pierced and sometimes the cooked egg will ooze from the hole. The bottom of the supplied water measuring cup has an egg piercer. 4. A complete toast/poached egg/Canadian bacon sandwich: perfect. 5. Cleanup: very easy. Overall I am very pleased with the unit and would deinitely recommend it to others.

Very Good Customer Service

My wife and I bought this 2 slice version, and we liked it so much we gave it away and ordered the 4 slice model. We were disappointed when it arrived and the egg cooker didn't work. I called the company and then sent another one, no questions asked, without having to send the first in. Now we use it everyday to make delicious and healthy sandwiches. The only complaint is that the toaster doesn't make toast very dark, even on the highest setting, but it isn't bad, and you can put the toast in twice if it really bothers you. I would recommend this to everyone to make simple and delicious sandwiches.

Super Easy!

I am so glad I purchased this, not only is it super easy to use, but the egg made this way is much healthier than me frying it. The amount of water you put in determins how well your egg is cooked, but even with mine well done the muffin stays warm in the toaster. It's easy, convient, and healthier than going to McDonalds.

I'm ordering a second

I am not a gourmet or a breakfast food addict and I never feel comfortable around toasters or toaster ovens but I am missing this little device, after it died on me a couple of weeks ago. We had one of these for the past couple of years and, somehow, it turned me into a toast eater. My wife used the egg thing from time to time too so, when it stopped toasting, I felt that I needed a replacement and I am buying one today. On features: making eggs is moderately okay. I can't say much because I don't eat real eggs no more - cholesterol... you know? But it's good to know it's there and it doesn't bother anyone. The toast-making is easy and there is a nice knob that you can move from light to dark. I always select the darkest but my wife sets it somewhere in the middle. I don't know why. After a while, your toast pops up and you can eat it but if the slices are too small, it's sometimes hard to take them out and you better wait for a minute or you could burn your fingers. What does this thing have better than a regular toaster, other than the egg-processing part? It's the shape, I guess. I like things that are black and round and have a few buttons on them and I don't like appliances with a lot of shiny chrome. Did I mention that the one we bought a couple of years ago died on us? It did but... for $25... it's no big deal. I'm getting another one today and, if it lasts for 2 more years I'll be happy.

Who needs the over priced stores?

Our boss recently purchased a Tassimo coffee maker as a treat and a treat it is! I purchased the Gevalia Cappuccino and Latte t-disks and have been having gourmet coffee at my office. Both Cappuccino and Latte mixes are quite strong, but the milk that comes in the package serves as a smooth addition that mellows the flavor. Tastes great and saves me money on the Starbucks habit.

Quick and Easy.

Ok...it isn't the best Cappuccino in the world but it is fast and easy so what I lose in taste I gain in convenience. If you are a coffee freak go buy a $1,000 espresso machine...this is perfect for me. When I need a real fix I just head to the local coffee shop.

Great cappuccino!

With this, you get two t-disc sets, one for espresso, one for the steamed milk. It is really good without all the sweet additives from other cappuccino blends.

I got this chopper 2 yrs ago. I loved it for the first year. I liked the measuring cup and the fine or course chop feature. After a year of use the plastic ring that screws onto the cup cracked. I will buy another when it is made out of steal.

Old Concept Much Improved!

I love this thing! My mother had one all the years that I was growing up, so when I decided to buy one, I shopped Amazon and there it was! I was shocked; I did not think I would find one. Only this is so much better than the one that Mother had. The rubber seal on the bottom keeps the item steady. If you have extra nuts left over, you can simply put on the cap and put the jar in the refrigerator, where it will remain stable. The cap fits snuggly. The rubber end to the handle has a great feel to it, and it turns very easily. The bottom portion is a measuring cup, which is really handy for all those cookie recipes. It chops up the nuts just like I remember from when Mom made fudge and brownies, etc. Everything is dishwasher safe. Great. A word to the wise: instructions indicate to turn the jar upside down and turn the handle again for finely chopped nuts. However, it chops nuts just right for most recipes, and I would think that there might be more nut "powder" than necessary. I didn't try the fine chop because my pecans had already been chopped ok. I highly recommend this chopper. PS: I own the Ultimate Chopper, but I plan to use this nut chopper to chop nuts instead. Nicer cut, no guess work, easier clean up.

Works well

This chopper does a fine job with nuts. They're a nice size to use in baking when chopped on the coarse setting. I've not tried chopping them on the fine setting.

this is a great table for small ones, and easy to put together. i just wish it were a little bit sturdier/heavy. other than that i have no complaints. i just ensure we take the umbrella down every night/or when it's windy. great for what it is though!

Great table...flimsy umbrella

We love this table but we've already had to replace the umbrella after only 2 short weeks. I wish they would have a tie for the umbrella as the slightest gust of wind turns this inside out. I ordered a new one (another $[...]...ugh) and use my own tying mechanism to make sure the wind doesn't get this one. Otherwise...it's a GREAT table...very durable and my son LOVES it.

Nice table for the $$$$

This table is sturdy, easy to assemble, and can fit 6 kids easily. The umbrella is a nice feature and the colors blend well in the yard. I would recommend this table.

Great picnic table!

My husband and I are very happy with this table. We purchased it for our son's 2nd birthday party. Six toddlers fit comfortably at the table. As with any plastic sitting in the sun, it does get a bit hot. Overall, I would recommend this picnic table!

Flimsy and tough to assemble

This table is adorable and less expensive than the competition, so overall it's a good buy. However, it required 2 people to assemble because the large legs must be folded and held tight while screws are inserted. There were no pilot holes for the screws, and the plastic got extremely hot in the time it took to assemble the table outdoors. Furthermore, the bench noticeably sags when my 2 year old sits in the middle seat. I don't think it will support his weight by next summer (and he is an average weight for his age).

The yerba prima brush is excellent, and it needs to be a little rough at the beginning. The first several times using the brush, you need to go over your skin very gingerly, as time passes, you will be able to get rougher with its usage. I have been using the yerba prima brush for over three years now, and I try not to skip a day, I also highly recommend brushing your face as well. I Love this brush, it is one of the best items a person may get for skin care.

Great product

The brush feels really nice, like giving yourself a good scratch. The removeable handle was pretty useless as I couldn't get it to stay on. It went into the trash.

I've been using this brush for about 2 years and I love it! The bristles are nice and firm and do a great job exfoliating my skin. It might be a little too rough for some people so if you have sensitive skin, this is probably not for you. My skin is pretty thick and not sensitive at all so it suits me just fine.

I meant to rate it a one!

I am not an expert on skin brushing but I do not think that the brush is suppose to feel like you are scraping your skin off. This brush is VERY hard. It has thick stick like stems incorporated into the bristles. I was trying to brush as gently as I could and I was still having scrape marks on my skin. I sat with scissors and tried to cut all of the sharp stick things out of the bristles (I had a lot of time on my hands) and it still feels like a brush you would use to brush a horse. I read that a dry skin brush is suppose to be not to firm and not to soft and in my opinion this one is to hard.

I LOVE this skin brush! I've been using it for about 2-weeks now every morning before my shower a and my skin has become AMAZINGLY soft! Even cellulite marks have begun to diminish! Highly recommended!!

Great idea... but not for Pugs

I'd actually give this 5 stars if I had a dog with a snout. It didn't seem to be as deep in the photos as it actually is. While it does slow him down, Hoops is unable to get to the last fourth of his meal and it looks like the pillars are almost poking his eyes. I tried it a couple of times with him. He got very frustrated and flipped it over the first time. I secured it the second time, so he just gave up with 1/4 of his food left and cried. If it was half as deep it'd be great... Make a version for snub-nosed dogs please!

Creative and practical bowl

This bowl is perfect for little dogs who "woof down" their food and need to be gently forced to slow it down. It apparently helps with gastro-intestinal problems and other general problems like burping, flatulence, etc. I only had two issues with the small bowl -- it was too deep for my small (13 lb) smushed-nose French bulldog to use. Also, I normally don't buy plastic dog bowls because they often harbor more bacteria than sterling silver or metal bowls. It wasn't for us, but I think this bowl is a quality, useful product for the right pet household!

Works Great

We love this bowl for our 3 small dogs. They would hoover up the food, walk over to the carpet and vomit it all back out. That has not happened once since we bought these bowls. Yes the material is light plastic- but our dogs aren't chewers... yes the dogs push it around the floor when they are eating- but it makes meal time more interesting. For the price, it's a great deal and it 100% solves the problem.

Yes, there will be a drop or two of leaking, but it is negligible. This product works very well for what it costs. I would definitely not spend more on a batter dispenser unless you want buy a commercial quality item. Also, I did not find the quantity a problem It holds enough batter for 6-8 six inch pancakes. All in all - two thumbs up!

Well made and easy to use

This is well made and easy to use and cleans up like new. I bought one for my mother and one for myself, we both love them. If it happens to leak it is because your batter is too thin, we have had no problems with ours. My mother wanted one to fill small cupcake pans and it worked just the way she wanted it to. I wanted to make pancakes and it works great. So thank you for such a nice product.

This product leaks and makes a big mess! I kept having to wipe up batter from the counter top due to a slow leak at the base/handle of the dispenser. I don't recommend this item!

I was very disappointed with this product. On the first use, it leaked constantly! I bought the batter dispenser to help pancake-making be less messy, not more so! The product does dispense good pancakes, but it constantly leaks between dispenses. Don't buy it!

To add to the growing list, I also had this product fail on me twice. The first time, it shut off after about an hour. Then it was very sporadic. Occasionally over the next few days it would work for a couple hours at a time, but never more than that. It usually shut off in 10 minutes. I always had to go through a huge ordeal to convince it to work at all, and often it would turn on and then immediately shut off. I had really high hopes about it, because I loved everything else, including the soothing blue night light. (So peaceful and pretty.) So I ordered a second one and returned the first, assuming I had just gotten a bad one. The second one worked perfectly the first and second day, leading me to believe that this time it would survive. On the 3rd day, it started making an incredibly loud and annoying fan sound and wouldn't push out the mist whatsoever. ::sigh:: I did everything correctly, and followed the instructions perfectly, and used only bottled, distilled water. My only difference was when I tried calling Medisana, they never once answered the phone and didn't return a single one of my messages. Fortunately, Amazon customer service was helpful and processed the returns for me. They were both just defective. Very irritating. I was so disappointed that I gave up on humidifiers for a few months, and only yesterday made a purchase for a new, totally unrelated one. Here's hoping.

The Medisana personal humidifier works well beside my bed taking up little space. It has a two speed fan with the light optional as to on or off. I also use it for aromatherapy in my living room using various essential oil blend. A similar product for aromatheraphy alone is almost $100. I like my Medisana very much.

I also was unable to get this unit to work. The replacement did not work either, and I am still waiting for a refund.

great little humidifier

I would have given this humidifier 5 stars,however i purchased 1 last year and it only lasted for that long 1 year (which really means the winter season while the house heat is on) On the otherhand, it was the best humidifier i had ever purchased (i purchased a few)Usually humidifiers leave your carpets and floors a soggy, wet mess, ruins furniture. this one is just perfect, i have it in my daughters bedroom it keeps it moist without the mess. the blue light is a really nice color and makes a cool reflection on the ceiling. All in all i liked this humidifier so much that i did purchase another one just like it. hopefully this one will last a bit longer.

Better Than Lipton, I Been Duped !

This is THE best tea that I have ever had, and trust me Ive had my share in my days! From tangerine, to apple spice, and even mint. We wont even talk about the fancy white teas that been floating around these days. But this wu yi tea is very light and refreshing for those who dont like harsh tea that needs thousands of sugars before the bitter black taste fades away. I just put 2 tea spoons and thats it. What makes it better is that I even made iced tea with it, and I found it to get colder than the other brands which make it more refreshing. Dont waste another dollar on Lipton or Celest. This tea is lighter, healthier, and cost less. As for the weight loss I went from 180 to 173 so far, but I drink 2 cups a day. One cup on my way to work because NYC subways are really cold durring the summer due to air condtioners, and later in the evenning like 6pm cause I keep the air high in my home. But overall I love the price, love the taste, I say go for it!

Excellent Tea

My favorite Oolong and close to my favorite all time tea. Splendid aroma, medium body without a hint of astringency. You must try this tea. As for anyone who suggests putting milk or Splenda in this tea (or any tea), they are out of their gourd! Drink Lipton if you want to adulterate some tea with garbage.

I bought this a couple of months ago for my friend. We had made a couple of jokes about this movie and how funny it used to be. I gave it to her as a birthday present and she thought it was hilarious that I found a copy. Go figure----you can find anything on Amazon! It was still as cheezy as ever and she loved it.

AN AWESOME, CLASSIC MARVEL COMIC FLICK!!!

This was the first Marvel Comic movie! I love it! As a child, I loved it, and I watched it a few hours ago, and I still love it! It's awesome that a duck from another world named Howard is transferred to Earth and the lead singer from the rock band Cherry Bomb named Beverly is in trouble and Howard helps her. After that, they become good friends. As Howard is stuck on Earth, he tries to get a job and scientists want to study him, so Beverly, Phil, and Dr. Jenning try to help him. Something bad happens to the machine and a Dark Overlord takes over Jenning's body. Later, Jenning takes Beverly as a hostage and Howard and Phil must save her before the Dark Overlord summons his friends and destroys all life on Earth. The special effects are awesome! The look of the film is of the classic 80's! I highly recommend it! HOWARD THE DUCK IS A NEW BREED OF HERO!!! p.s. RELEASE THE DVD IN AMERICA ALREADY!!!

It's about time this movie showed up on DVD. I own it on Laserdisk. From what I understand there may be no (or precious few) extras on the DVD. You either hate this movie or love it for what it is. If you can suspend disbelief it works, and works very well. Richard in Boston

Remembering the oldies......Great times

Wow. This is going back a ways. Just showed this movie to my wife whom has never seen it. Got talking about great 80s movies the other day with friends and I brought this one up. It brought smiles to the people who remember Howard and his friends. My brother and I loved this movie. Loved movies of the 80s. Even though lots of them were pretty corny, Howard was the duckiest dude of all. Cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Hope they bring Howard to dvd in the USA for all generations to enjoy!!!

Entertaining and a bit out there

Come on! Howard Duck was fun and a bit wacky. Yes, this out-of-space duck was bit horny, a bit of a coward, and completely psychotic but, at least all of this was funny. My favorite thing is just watching the duck run, as hard as he may try, he just can't go that fast. A bit sadist yes, but funny. The "love" story side of the movie may have been a bit too much. A bit too out there and unlikely...but hey, it's sci-fi! The movie is entertaining. If I were flipping through channels and stumbled across it, I would certainly stop and watch it.

While i'm certainly sensitive and empathehetic to the needs of of any US service personnel serving in the gulf (my thanks to you all)....just because amazon can't ship the shovel somewhere - -it shouldn't get a bad review in my opinion. For the price it absolutely can't be beat. If you want full blown 'survival" shovel like a pro climber would use -- then count on spending $100 or more......I just had to dig my car tires out of the snow the other day (I bought the shovel to leave in my trunk) and it was perfect for the job.

Collapsing Shovel

This is a pretty good collapsing shovel. The handle has a telescoping joint, so it fold down into a very compact shape. The handle is made out of the standard fiberglass-nylon plastic material that Gerber is fond of using. It isn't very big when expanded out, but what do you expect for a fairly durable folding shovel.

Why is this restricted from shipping to an APO???

I'd like to use a mini shovel to fill some sandbags outside my trailer in Iraq since the TCN workers came and cleared out the busted old ones without replacing them. This looks like a great shovel for the job... HOWEVER, some genius decided to restrict the shipping of this item so it won't go to an APO... same with several other items on Amazon which are restricted for no particular reason. What gives? It's not like I'm going on a rampage with a mini-shovel! There are certainly plenty of other more suitable things available here to use as weapons...like a plastic spoon from the chow hall (of some of the food)! This thing doesn't even have a pick on it!!! Is someone afraid I'll dig and find burried treasure, or better yet, WMDs??? I just want to fill some fracking sand bags (ok, and maybe build a sand-castle)!!!

The caddy for all of the Cuisinart discs and blades is great. I no longer open a cabinet and have them falling on my feet. It organizes everything and allows you to retrieve them easily. It is not an essential but it makes handling these items a pleasant experience, not a frustrating one.

I like this product it keeps my blades organized while using a small amountof space. The lock is hard to open. I keep mine in the cabinet so I just don't lock it.

No More Worries around the Blades!

I am so glad I bought this product! I was storing my blades in the styrofoam insert they came packaged in. Not too pretty. This holder is great. It stores the blades and discs in a compact, safe container that I can leave on my counter next to my food processor. Well worth the investment.

A Great cup of coffee

If you like a deep rich coffee, you will LOVE this one. It's flavor is quit intense, but it's not bitter at all. Prior to purchasing this coffee, every morning I had to have my morning coffee, but that was it for the day. Now one cup is just not enough. I keep thinking about that rich flavor and I just have to go back for more!

I'm drinking this coffe right now, and I have to say it's not my favorite. To me, this coffee has a bit of a burnt espresso aftertaste. Timothy's brand has a Sumatra which is very bold but smoother than this one. Unfortunately for me, I still have another box of 25!

One of my favorites!!

Overall, the Green Mountain K-Cups (same owner as Keurig) make some of the BEST extra bold k-cups. Sumatran Reserve is exceptionally rich and not bitter. If you like a dark, rich coffee, you need to try this one. Slightly sweet, rich flavor. The Green Mountain K-Cups I drink reguarly are the Sumatran, Kenya AA, and Kona. All come as Extra Bold.

An avid coffee fan, I find Green Mountain Sumatran Reserve Extra Bold to be the single best dark roast coffee I have ever tasted. Having traveled extensively, I've tried many dark brews from around the world and they often left quite a bitter after-taste. This particular coffee is so delicious, I no longer purchase coffee from any of the "chain coffee cafes". Treat yourself well. This is the best cup of dark roasted coffee you're ever going to get from a non- Extra Bold K Cup. It is not bold, and if you are looking for bold, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a bold cup of coffee from a K Cup, I recommend Newman's Own Organics Extra Bold Special Blend, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) or Green Mountain Coffee Fair Trade Organic Sumatran Bold, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) for that. If you are looking here for a medium type roast that has the taste of a bolder roast, this is your coffee. I think that if you brewed the ground Lake & Lodge in a Keurig My K-Cup Reuseable Coffee Filter it would be a great, strong cup of coffee. Nevertheless, this is a good, non-bold cup of coffee.

not what i expected

good price, but not what I expected. This one sits in my carousel for a long time. Does not taste like coffee.

Not my favorite of the Green Mountain brand...

I ordered the lake and lodge because the description sounded as if it would be very flavorful. It is not bad but doesn't taste as it is described. At times it tastes like burned coffee. It is not my first choice of all the Green Mountain coffees. I prefer the Nantucket.

This lake and lodge, along with french roast are good if you like medium to strong coffee with sort of a sweet, smoky flavor. they are my favorites.

Works like new again

I make smoothies that requires blending 6 ice cubes and frozen fruit nearly every day. I bought an Oster blender over a year ago and it has been great at making smoothies. Lately, it has been taking an incredibly long time to mix them and I figured the blender was finished. I resigned myself to buying a new blender but at the last minute, I decided to try replacing the chopping blade. I am so HAPPY I decided to give this a try because my blender is running like new again and saved me at least $20. I would recommend buying two at once as this will save you money on shipping costs.

Like a new blender!!!!

I was given an Oster Blender as a wedding gift in 1986, and have been using it ever since. Lately, the margaritas were coming out with chunks of ice, and I thought it was because the motor was getting weak. After reading the reviews, I decided to try replacing the blade rather than forking out for an entire new blender. OH MY WORD!!!!! It truly is like having a new blender!! The margaritas are so smooth... no more ice chunks! I don't care where it is made - it will renew your old blender. Highly recommended.

Looked a little lopsided.

This agitator assembly looked a little lopsided at first but I gave it a try and it is dynamite for smoothies. The blades on it are very sharp so be extra careful when handling. The slightly off center blade arrangement is what makes it work as good as it does.

Super sucker

This made a distinct difference in the performance of our blender. I make nutritional shakes daily which contain various ingredients with different textures. The blender is full and this blade style really sucks the mixture down and blends well.

Weak French Vanilla (especially if you make a travel size cup for work). I prefer Gloria Jean's French Vanilla Supreme, it's a little darker and much smoother (not to mention cheaper).

Good...but weak coffee flavor.

French Vanilla is good...but the coffee flavor is very weak. This is not my personal taste of choice...I Will Not buy again.

Desserty and Afternoony!

Love the coffee,,,, especially if you enjoy your coffee light.... a good cup of coffee in the afternoon when you need a boost but not a heart palpitation. Very tasty, light and refreshing. Would recommend to all interested for a slight elevation of your senses in that afternoon "down" that each and every one of us can relate to. P.S. no picture.... no one needs see me at my lowest ebb.

Great coffee

Great coffee, great flavor, great price, no waste! Single cup Kreurig coffee makers are well worth the price for the convenience, great tasting cup of coffee and variety of coffees available. Don't generally like flavored coffees, but the French Vanilla is very nice.

I've owned a few other scales, but they were all cheap, didn't last, and only measured up to a few pounds. This scale is really high quality. I love that I can track the nutrition of everything I eat. But I can also use it when I am baking to get accurate measurements of my dry goods, so I use the tare function all the time. It's so sensitive, it will register the weight of your breath just blowing on it! I love this scale, and if you're like me and enjoy baking AND being healthy, this makes a really fabulous gift--to yourself!

Huge eye opener!

This thing is amazing! I saw one of my friends using this and I thought he was just bored and was weighing food for no apparent reason, but when I approached him he gave me a little insight on what this product does. Its mind blowing that it can do so many things, you simply put what item you are planning to eat on the scale, then you look through the manual and find what it is that you are eating. There will be a number next to it, you simply type that number in on the pad and just like that it brings up calories, salt content, protein, fat, carbohydrates, cholesterol, and fiber of that item on the scale. There are 1000 items in the manual so you will be able to find the nutritional content of almost every food item! This is a must have for anyone trying to watch what they eat!

This product is easy and fun to use. Comes with directions that are easy to read and understand. Great for logging daily, weekly food journals for any health conscience individual. The size is relatively small as far as width, depth and height. It can fit in a drawer or hang out on the counter. It uses different types of weight measurements as well such as lbs, oz and grams. You can also use it for other items such as mail for postage purposes or anything else up to 7 lbs. The item also has a nice brushed chrome appearance and a the weighing plate is glass.

A tough, usefull tool.

I bought this to use when camping/hiking/hunting. I has proven useful and much more durable than the standard wooden handle model. My kids haven't broken it yet and it shows no rust! The saw is good for small camping/woods tasks like removing small limbs that are in the way. My only small complaint is that is hard to find when you drop it in the dark and the texture of the handle somehow keeps reflective tape (my solution to finding it in the dark) from sticking very well. I ended up putting on a bright colored lanyard. Overall, a good practical addition. I will probably buy another one to keep in my truck.

Well made and very sharp

This is a very good product, it's well made and sharp. The knife actually goes into the bottom of the axe's handle, and is held there by a pretty strong magnet, you need some force to pull it out. But when you do, you won't regret it, because this is one good and sharp knife.

Non-Skid Great for Kids

I teach cooking classes to children and these have quickly become my favorite mats. They do not slip, are easy to clean, and the variety of colors makes a nice presentation to the room when my students walk in. There are other versions out there at retail stores like Bed, Bath & ... They are not the non-skid version and sell for the same price. Take the extra time and order these!

These cutting boards, being flexible and flat, are easy to store anywhere and are easy to wash. I find that they do skid a little bit but it isn't a major problem. The colours add a nice change to the usual wooden boards or white plastic boards.

The anti-skid stuff is pretty much useless. I give this product 4 stars because, unlike most similar products, it doesn't curl like a sombich. I've had mine for a good length of time and they're still flat after over a hundred dish washer cycles.

Durable and long lasting

I purchased these form Amazon in 2005 and we are still using them on a daily basis. They are perfect for all of your cutting needs, and they are thick so they don't curl up (like other cutting mats we've had). They make it much easier to add just chopped veggies/ meats, into pots on the stove because they are so portable and lightweight. They only bad thing is that they get cut up from being used all the time, but since they are plastic they are easy to wash or throw in the dishwasher to sterilize. A must have for anyone in the kitchen.

Great product

These slide around on the top of my counter, so i have to use them on top of a wood cutting board where they sit tight. Which is fine as it gives them a little height, which i like for chopping and the like. Having said that, they are excellent. It is so nice to just change them out during food prep, and toss them in the dishwasher for sanitation (who needs color coding). No more washing a bunch of heavy wood cutting boards after every meal. I use them all of the time and they have held up well. And when they wear out, I'll just buy more.

Disappointingly low quality spice rack

I made the mistake of purchasing this spice rack as a gift for my mom. The handle broke off of the rack as she was removing it from the packaging. The entire rack is plastic. The base was not sturdy. I wish I had known how poorly made the thing would be before I bought it so I could have skipped it altogether for a better quality product. Very disappointing!

Attractive and Functional

The spice and herb selections were traditional and well chosen, the spice jars were not fragile, the carousel turns, the jars don't fly off when you turn carousel, the spices have been fresh. The original packaging was sturdy and attractive if you're thinking of gifting this item. I think the labels could fade if you rubbed them, but I don't see a need to rub them. I see other Olde Thompson spice and seasoning items at major retailers, which is reassuring and will allow me to coordinate in the kitchen when I replace salt & pepper shakers or related items. As a middle of the road shopper, I doubt that I'd have paid more for enhancements like metal or wood construction in the carousel or jar lids. I never give a 'perfect' rating, but this product is just fine.

Love my Jar Orbit Spice Rack

I love my Jar Orbit Spice Rack. The stand is very convenient. The 2 sided lids are great. The locking inner lid is a great idea for the spices I don't use very often. I would like to have another tier of empty jars for my own spices.

Returning this item

I thought this was a nice looking item, but before I was even able to unpackage it, a jar flew out of the box and shattered on the floor. I think the glass is not sturdy enough, and it seems likely that jars will occasionally be dropped. I am returning this item and will look for one with sturdier jars or the magnetic tins.

Finally found the one!

I've struggled with my 4 year old's eczema for most of his life. My pediatrian finally recommended this lotion. After only a few aplications his skin is clear, softer and smoother then it has been ever. It absorbs quickly and leaves no stickness and has next to no fragrance so he doesn't mind being slathered up. I only use it after his bath a couple of times a week and his skin has stayed clear and smooth. Occasionally I've used it on my 7 month old and it works great for him too eventhough he doesn't have skin problems...yet. I've tried it on myself for my skin conditions especially my hands and it hasn't worked quite as well. I think with the frequent washing of my hands I need something more emoilent. I am thinking of trying the CeraVe cream for myself it may work better for more frequently washed super dry skin.

I discovered this product when I took a cooking class. I can't believe I used anything else. I use this microplane for almost every dish as it does everything from lemons to chocolate to cheese and garlic. It has soo many uses. The blades are still super sharp and I have had mine for over a year. Buy it now, use it and enjoy a wonderful meal... yum yum :)

This product is great. I doubt many will get to this review considering how many times it has been given 5 stars. But here's my reasons for giving it 5 stars: 1. We've used ours for over a year now and it's still like new 2. Lightweight and sharp, so easily grates without much pressure 3. Fits easily into a drawer with the sleeve on (space is very important to us, we have so many gadgets in our kitchen) 4. Dishwasher safe, which is great since we use the dishwasher to clean all but the items we know it would destroy. It's been washed many, many times and as I said above, it still looks new. 5. Easy to use at the table

This tool is excellent. Definitely 5 stars. It is very sharp and is easy to use. It makes a very fine grate of anything I have tried. Handy for using over a pot when cooking. Cleans up easily. A must have for any kitchen

After years of toilling with an old fashined grader for making lemon cakes, lime cookies, etc, I picked one of these up. First off, throw your old grader away and never try to zest with it again. The microplane makes the work so much easier and QUICKER! A full lemon takes just 30 seconds to zest, pecorion romano and parmigiano reggiano melt off this thing as if it were on fire! I've since bought a few others in assorted sizes.

I received the AquaGlow Rainbow fountain yesterday. None of the provided attachments connect to any of my inground return jets, so I connected it to a garden hose. It is very noisy which takes a way any enjoyment of watching the light display.

THE FOUNTAIN SHOOTS PRETTY FAR, BUT YOU CONTROL BY TURNING THE FAUCET UP OR DOWN. THE COLORS CHANGE, AND ARE PRETTY EFFECTIVE. OVER ALL A VERY GOOD PRODUCT.

Simple and effective

It works well and it displays a nice changing colored rainbow as advertised. I would give a five star if it came with a clear hose to go from the pool to the device and if the water pressure were stronger for a bigger rainbow. The tubes that came with the device did not fit my pool inlets.

most pools have low pressure and the streams of water are very short. setting it up to garden house it runs very good like i thought it would when hooked to pool.if you block off the other return the pool does't turnover as fast for filtering.

. Dress to Kill Eddie Izzard at the top of his form. Friends either find him sensational or don't like his kind of humor. There seems to be no in-between. This DVD is preceded by a regrettable bit of nonsense re San Francisco that might discourage new viewers from getting on to his marvelous stage presentation. His NY presentation of this show, shown on HBO, was better, mostly since it didn't have the terrible introductory material in this DVD. Looking forward to a DVD of his current show, "Stripped".

Must-have Izzard, absolutely excellent!

Smart, quick and extremely funny, Izzard is amazing in Dress to Kill. Excellent choice if you've just heard of him (shame on you!), for this will make a die-hard fan out of everyone. I usually find myself quoting his lines in everyday situations. Dress to Kill is funny the first time you watch it, but it gets better when you watch it again, and again, and again... It's genius. I would definitely recommend buying D2K together with Glorious (and then you're hooked... so you'll probably end up buying all of the others anyway) Looking forward to DVDs of his more recent shows!

One of the all-time great stand-up shows

I do love Eddie Izzard in general, though I haven't been able to see all of his work. However, this is easily one of my favorite stand-up performances of any comedian and is well worth watching for anyone who's willing to step out of traditional American comics. Highly, highly recommended.

Not only are these batteries six volts, but there are two of them! They come in an attractive black case with a convenient pointing arrow. These are by far the best 67A-67D 6-Volt Lithium batteries I have ever purchased.

Peace of Mind

After using the petsafe collar for only week, our out of control dog started to respond to our commands with the use of the sound only. We were so surprised and very relieved. She is like having a new dog. I would recommend this collar to anyone with a very hyper/unresponsive dog. The sound seems to do the trick with some practice.

A comparison of three different maternity support belts At 22 weeks pregnant, I developed pain in my right hip and leg. The pain became worse as the weeks went by, and by 26 weeks, I almost couldn't walk normal anymore. After talking to my ob/gyn, she suggested I try a maternity support belt to relieve the pressure on my sciatic nerve. I read a number of reviews on Amazon, and finally decided to order two different belts, based on the good reviews each one received. While I was waiting for my belts to arrive from Amazon, I also went to Babies R Us and bought one there. Here are my reviews for each belt: One of my choices from Amazon was the "Soft Form Maternity Support" belt ($ 33.99). As soon as it arrived, I took it out of the package and was a little turned off. The belt's color is a really dark brown, which I wasn't too thrilled with. When I tried it on, I noticed how thick the material is, which adds bulk underneath clothing. First, I put on the abdominal support pad, which really cradles your belly. Felt kind of nice. Then, I attached the belt and the upper tummy strap. I didn't like either one of these. The belt is split lengthwise into two panels across the back, which makes adjustments a little annoying, and it was rolling (or folding) down on top. The Velcro taps on the belt are wider than the abdominal pad, leaving parts of the Velcro sticking out either on top, where it scratches your stomach, or on the bottom, where it scratches your legs. The tummy strap is thick and scratchy. No matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't get comfortable in this thing. I hope I can return it for a refund. (Note: I just found out I CAN'T return this, so I wasted 34 bucks.) My second choice from Amazon was the "Mother-to-be Maternity Support" belt ($ 31.98). As soon as it arrived, I tried it on and loved it. The abdominal support pad is soft and comfortable. The belt is made from strong material and really hugs your back, which feels great and supportive. The belt doesn't roll down or fold over and really keeps it shape. The Velcro taps fit perfectly on the abdominal pad and are flat against the belly. Even though it is a strong belt, it also feels soft and stretches with your movements. The tummy strap is a little thick, but still feels comfortable. Initially, the top and bottom edge of the belt are a little scratchy, but I imagine I can get used to that. It's a minor price to pay to be pain free once again. The edges might still soften up a little, as the belt gets broken in with repeated wear and washings. Also, the belt hugs the body so well, it doesn't show underneath my maternity clothes. The only negative thing I can see with this belt is the fact that the back panel doesn't have the little breathe strips like other belts. This might cause extra sweating during the summer, but I would still take the sweat over the pain. At Babies R Us, I bought the "Especially for Mom Maternity Support" belt ($ 32.69). The nice thing about buying it at a store was that I was able to try it on before I bought it. Once I brought it home, I put it on right away. Everything about this belt is great. The materials are soft and comfortable. I'm wearing it on my bare skin for most of the day, and it doesn't irritate or scratch at all. It fits great, and the support is excellent for a soft, light-weight belt like this. The pain in my right hip and leg pretty much disappeared after wearing it for a short time. The belt has little breathe strips built in, so it is really easy to wear even in the summer. It keeps its shape without rolling or folding down. The belt fits very well and doesn't show underneath clothing. Overall, this is my favorite of the three belts. If you can get this at a store near you, I'd say buy it. If not, get the "Mother-to-be Maternity Support" belt from Amazon.

I used this with my first and now with my twins, it's the only one with enough support that works for me.

I loved this neautral color, the edges in the front peice stick out when you wear a tight t-shirt, but I used a bella-band over it and that helps. I tried the back brace by medella and it didn't do anything!

This item is bigger than I anticipated (several other people state this, but I was still surprised). The products works well and the removable enterior makes clean-up a snap. Though it may not be as nice looking as some of the other knock boxes, it functions extremely well and I highly recommend this prodcut!

Needs Field Test

The Gerber "Gator" appears to be a good machete, but I've not yet had the chance to field test it. The handle is well-designed and comfortable. I like it better than other machete handles I've used because it is soft on the surface and hard as iron underneath. It is also ergonomically friendly; it fits into my hand's natural contours nicely. I haven't yet decided weather I like the ridge back. I suppose it depends on how much I hurt myself with it this summer. One other minor con for the sawback is that they make drawing and putting away more difficult. On the plus side, it should be excellent for mowing through harder and thicker brush. I feel a little dubious about it's use as an actual saw, but it might work. I do wish Gerber would post what kind of steel they used so I know I'm not getting suckered with some pansy, high-chromium junk that's better suited for the rims on a Lexus. The price is excellent; even with shipping, it was only about $25.00. Gerber generally makes quality products, so I am giving this machete the benefit of the doubt for now. I'll write another review in August with the real story.

Not what it cuts out to be

I ordered this machette to blaze trees for a property paint line. However right ofter receiving it, I used it to trim a small bush next to my driveway. Although it is as sharp as a knife the metal edge bent easily, and now it is serrated and useless just from cutting < 1/4 inch stems for less than 5 min. I am not sure what type of brush it will cut without getting damaged.

Good enough for me

I purchased this for clearing brush that consisted of TONS of vines and pricker bushes. Also since I used last weekend when it was still sort of winter, most of the stuff wasn't full of life. It cut anything I tried. I was pretty happy with it. It wasn't as sharp as I would have hoped but if you run out and get a sharpening stone it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. But overall out of the box it was able to cut through the vines and such. I would recommend or lend this to a friend in need of the same. I plan on using it again next weekend without sharpening it.

Hello Kittty waffles ftw!

I'm always making my friends hello kitty waffles with this Hello Kitty Waffle Maker. And whenever someone new hasn't seen them before they always say, "Wow, they're really in the shape of Hello Kitty." I just wish there was like a "ding" to let me know that they're done because if I don't put enough cooking spray or butter on the waffle maker before pouring the batter, I risk having hello kitty waffles in two halves. Other than that though, this product is great.

The oil works very very slowly so be prepared to stick with it. Unfortunately, the packaging is flawed. The rubber dropper top will disintergrate because of the ingredients. I had to take the rubber dropper off and stick a piece of foil into it to plug up the opening. You may want to try a different brand.

Still a lot of mascara left behind...

I ordered these about 8 months ago and I just opened the fourth container last week. I like that each container lasts a while, but the product itself leaves something to be desired. The remover irritates my eyes and if I don't wash my face right after I use it, it burns my eyes. Also, there is always some mascara and eyeliner left behind even when I use two pads in a row. With such good reviews, I was a little disappointed.

Poor job on waterproof mascara

I had very high hopes for this after reading the reviews. I'm always in search of a non-greasy make-up remover for waterproof mascara. While the product is non-greasy, it does a poor job of removing mascara. My search continues ...

First time vornado owner

I LOVE this unit! It's called an air circulator and sure enough it does that - but it's short-changing the product as a fan too since it's far stronger and effective than most box fans I've ever owned (even when the box fans are on high speed) - I have no idea what people are complaining about with regards to the *noise* - apparently they have never owned a box fan or stand fans or have forgotten the often high-pitched whirring noise they emanate - the vornado sounds no higher than an a/c unit when on full blast and quickly blends into background noise when you sleep. Even our 2 usually skittish cats walk around it and sleep only 10 feet away when it is on its highest setting! We live in a 4 room basement apartment and already it has lowered the temp by at least 5 degrees (its breeze reaches the furthest corner of the 2nd room it is directed towards)- we find keeping it in the straight ahead position on the floor in the same room as the a/c the most effective thus far but we've only owned it for 2 days and haven't experimented with a cross-draft effect near a window yet. It is light weight, sooo easy to carry and its compact design makes it truly portable. We bought a simple bathroom rug to place it on which has proven effective in reducing additional vibration noise on a vinyl floor. Already have advised family and friends to get one (2 are in the process of buying one as I write this).

Vornado 733 B

I recently purchased the Vornado 733 B High-Velocity 3 speed fan for our upstairs to circulate the air upstairs. I am very pleased with the overall function of the fan. It is much quieter than I'd hoped and really moves the air. I will be purchasing another for downstairs. I was afraid the 733 would be too large but it is perfect for the larger area I was covering. I've purchased a lot of fans over the years and this by far is one of the best!

Now Made of Cheap Plastic

I've used Vornado fans for decades. So, since my one of my large 700 series fans started having issues starting up (it'd just sit there until shaken, then spin), I ordered this. I was shocked, after opening the box, to find this fan made of flimsy plastic. I'd prefer to pay more and have a decently made fan, not something resembling a toy. I guess items are going to continue to be made lighter and lighter (saving on tanker fuel to get from China to the US), until everything will be light as paper. Then we'll get to watch our new fans fly around the room, due to lack of weight. :-0 Its body is larger than my old 700 series, taking up a larger footprint. It is better in that it is designed to sit in its three positions without falling back onto its old default position, like my old fan does. Thus the 3 stars.

Good little fan

Good fan, but a bit noisy on higher speeds. Only having 3 fixed angles to the base is a bit limiting. Overall I am happy with it.

Very nice piece of equipment

The Vornado is a very neat fan (or air circulator to be more precise). If you use it as a fan (direct blowing at lowest setting), it is very quiet, and as an air circulator (set at medium speed) it is still not too loud and can be quite powerful. I did have some problems setting it up for maximum performance. It is supposed to have uninterrupted space between itself and a wall and it can be quite a challenge in a small apartment like mine. However after setting up it permitted me to raise the AC temperature a few degrees higher with no impact on comfort. I would have to see my electricity bill to say whether the purchase was worth it in terms of electricty savings. The one thing that is kind of annoying is the speed dial, which is hard to reach.

Don't waste your money!

I have had cake decorating classes before and for that I purchased Wilton's kit, which is the best. My daughter loved the betty crocker's after watching it on TV. I bought it so we can decorate together with a newer kit. The best feature of this set is the BOX!! Nothing else!! As some buyers mentioned, it is just plastic junk. The worst part is the large funnel tube which needs a lot of frosting that you can never push out. The bags break with every squeeze. At the end, I gave up leaving a ton of mess and went back to my good old kit that never failed me. What is terrible is that they made the funnel such a size which never fits another tip but its own. The plastic tips don't allow frosting to come out unless it is as soft as whipped cream, now how would I do my roses with such consistency?? But at least I got a plastic box to keep my other decorating tips in and nice stencil letters, other than that, I wouldn't spend $3 for it.

Waste of Money

This was horrible. I purchased this at Target in hopes to make birthday cakes for our small get togethers and what not and this was just junk! It was messy, the bag ripped, the "stencil" just took the icing right off along with some of the cake and left NO outline of what I was suspposed to be able to fill in with colored icing. I followed the directions to a tee for their icing and it was just horrible. I ended up wasing a ton of icing from trying to put it in the bag and taking it off of the cake. I finally gave up and threw it in the trash and had to patch up the cake with the extra icing we had left over. So we ended up having a birthday cake with no writing and just candles. Next time I will just order it or buy those nasty letters you stick on and throw those out. It would have been much cheaper!

My little niece saw this on TV and thought it looked great. After waiting for about six weeks, it arrived today. It is nothing but a pieces of plastic junk. What a joke.

Bought for my wife

I bought this for my wife for a few reasons. She likes purple/pink. She always throws our Shun Classics into the sink or dishwasher. She thinks our Shuns are too heavy. Perfect solution. Relatively cheap, light, sharp. Don't care if she throws it in the dishwasher or leaves it on the sink or cuts with it on a ceramic board. It's been abused for months now, only now am i noticing the blade is getting dull. However, for about $20, it has and will serve its purpose for a few more months.

The paint comes off

The paint comes off if they are used much and the most used gets dull. I'd love to return or find out what the problem is. I bought 2 friends complete sets as well as myself. All three sets are doing this.

THE BEST

I simply love Komachi knives. At present I own four, each has its own purpose and should be used for such. Sharp and seemly they remain so, easy to hold and use. Great price for a fabulous product, no need to pay more.

nice knife

My wife works as a cook in a restaurant and the whole kitchen wanted to use this knife when she brought it in. Sent one to my 90-year-old aunt and she loves it. So does my mom. Sure, it's not that durable, wears out after while, but for $20 whaddya want. Buy a few. Great value for money.

The Edge

This is my third Pure Komachi knife in as many months. These are, without a doubt, the nicest knives I've had the pleasure of working with. Great detail and thought went into each one; although each works just as well with some other obvious foods like cheese or meats, it's very satisfying slicing thru its given edge. The Santoku is for vegetables like carrots, mushrooms, onions, apples,oranges etc. One special detail that Kai adds to these knives is a fluorinated resin coating, and if cared for by handwashing with nothing abrasive, the coating is supposed to keep food from sticking to the knives during prepping. My 4th will be the tomato/cheese Pure Komachi!

Folgers Coffee Singles

I've been using Folger's Coffee Singles for 3 years or so. Since I am the only coffee drinker in the house, they are so simple to use and taste as good as brewed coffee...but no leftovers! I also try to control my caffeine intake and what is more simple than a single serving of real brewed coffee made in your cup. I take them traveling, better than the hotel coffee anyday. The decaf is also great. The answer to camping, work and play.

Mildew Solver!

No matter what we tried, our nylon shower curtain got moldy. Whichever side of it rested against the tub never dried completely. A fabric curtain changed that. The nylon (decorative) curtain stays on the outside of the tub, and the fabric one on the inside. The fabric curtain dries fine, and it's washable, so it's easy maintenance. This one is even nice enough to work as the one and only curtain on your shower.

Good deal for the money

This is a nice shower curtain liner. I used it behind a clear shower curtain with flamingoes on it and it looks really nice. You can't see through it. I like the fabric a lot and for 10 dollars you just can't beat it! Not so sure about the mildew resistance...

Durable! Last forever!!

I originally bought three of these for the ring-enclosure on a claw-footed tub, and have since moved, taking the curtains with me. We've used them every single day for the past 7 or 8 years, and I'm still on the first set. Yes, they eventually mildew -- I take them down every 2-3 months and wash with bleach. No damage, if I fill the machine first, add bleach, then toss in the curtains. Recently I started using a plastic clip to hold the curtain up while it dries -- if it air dries quickly instead of sticking to the side of the tub, I can go twice as long between washings. I bought these because they're soft, sheer, and much more attractive than vinyl, but I never dreamed they'd last almost a decade. How much more can you ask of an inexpensive item??

We bake lots of breads, cookies, pies at our B&B and ranch store. Having these racks that fit in a commercial 1/2 sheet baking pan is just the ticket. If you put them in a pan, then if you glaze, or dust or whatever, the toppings don't fall all over. Plus the lip of the pan is a tiny bit higher than the rack so things don't go sliding off when moved.

$16 shipping for $21 dollar order? That's "reasonable"?

It's one thing to take a "leap of faith" in buying online. It's another to be raped in shipping and HANDLING fees. Shipping is not that expensive--I've checked--it should be five dollars. What's the other eleven four?

Too flimsey

The racks need to either be heavier, or have a center support of some sort. I bought three, and they all immediately bowed in the center - and all we've used them for are cookies! They were too expensive to ship back and we can still use them for cookies so we kept them, but don't buy them if you ever intend to put anything heavy on them.

Much to my surprise these old Foley food mills are still being made! This beauty is made out of stainless steel. Solid, easy to care for and gorgeous. The 2 1/2 quart one I have fits a smaller prep bowl, but I knew that it would when I ordered it. The sweep arm on the bottom comes off for cleaning with an easy twist of the nut that attaches it. The blade inside the food mill is easy to operate and to clean. It runs smoothly over the grate giving you a nicely textured dish. The rotating knob on the handle that turns the blade is a real plus, no blisters. I will admit to using a kitchen towel to hold the handle attached to the food mill because I prefer a solid handle rather than the loop style this food mill has. This is the kind of appliance our grandmothers and mothers used and we all remember their great potato soup. When you get back to basics, you want something easy to use, good looking and easy to clean AND that stores in a cupboard rather than its own garage. So, start with a Foley Food Mill.

My kitchen is incomplete without a Foley food mill!

I was raised with a foley food mill in the kitchen. Mom bought me one when I first started housekeeping, as I did my daughter and Son also. The old ones rusted up, but I see now they are made of stainless steel, which is great.I never put mine in a dishwasher, but my daughter did without thinking, therefore it got rusty. I ordered two, as they are hard to find, a little on the expensive side, but Amazon gave the best price. The new models are dishwater safe, and will never rust as they are made of stainless steel. Great product, Iwouldn't be able to make cranberry sauce, applesauce, seed tomatoes, canning etc., without it!

I purchased this mill after seeing it at my friend's home. My most important reason for wanting the mill is to make applesauce. It functions beautifully. I've not used it for other purposes as yet.

Works great

I've been using this brand since I discovered it at Costco several months ago. It works wonderfully for the whole family, including Dad's dirty work clothes and baby's items (separately, of course). I have sensitive skin and found this brand to be non-irritating. It's a keeper.

So far so good

We purchased this detergent at our grocery store after being bitten by the Earth Day bug a couple of short weeks ago. We have a toddler who wears lots of his food and is otherwise grimy. We decided to put it to the test with his laundry and everything but a pretty severe grass stain came clean! We have an HE washer but the detergent works for non-HE washers too (you just need to use 2x the amount for non-HE). Considering the number of loads a single jug washes, this is actually very comparable in price to conventional big name brands, i.e. Wisk, All, Tide, etc. Thus far we've been pleasantly surprised and will continue to use.

Good product

We have a baby and toddler both with eczema and otherwise sensitive skin. I needed a detergent that could clean all our clothes at once as I don't feel like doing kids clothes and parent's clothes separately. After a decision to switch to greener products, I bought this at my local CoOp to give it a trial run. Found it to clean all our clothes as well as any brand of conventional detergent I have used before (i.e. Tide, Kirtland's, and assorted baby detergents). Also, it rinses clean. I was happy to see it on Amazon.

Aveeno Daily Lotion is a like a luxurious milk bath for my tender hide.
